Chief John Williams
Chief Williams began his career with the Elkins Police Department in June 2004 as a part-time officer and was later made a full-time officer in August 2004. Williams completed Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Acdemy while employeed with the Elkins Police Department and was promoted to the rank of Sergeant on July 5, 2008. In April 2009 Chief Williams was named as the Interim Chief and on June 17, 2009 he was named the 9th Police Chief for the City of Elkins

Sgt. Bill Rhodes
Sgt. Rhodes joined the Elkins Police Department in February 2005 after completing a part-time program through the Washington County Sheriff's Office, In June 2005 he continued his career with the Elkins Police Department as a full-time officer.

Sgt. Mike Ball
Sgt. Mike Ball began his career with the Elkins Police Department in January 2007 as a Part-Time patrolman. Officer Ball was given a position as a full-time officer in August 2007 after demostrating professionalism as an officer. In March 2008 Officer Ball succesfully attended the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy and is currently a certified Drug Recongnition Expert

Officer John Brown
Officer Brown joined our department in May of 2008, and brought with him several years of Law Enforcement experience. Officer Brown is also our lead tatical officer.

Officer Lance Gaines
Officer Gaines was hired by Elkins as an Auxiallry Officer in April 2005 and later promoted to Auxiliary Sergeant in July 2008. On June 17, 2009 Officer Gaines accepted a position as a full time patrolman for the City of Elkins.

Officer Jason Travis
Officer Travis is our latest edition to our full time department. He brings with him a vast amount of experience, and knowledge having been working with us as a part time officer, as well as working in the Department of Corrections.
